Links to Tools discussed:

Scanner Apps:
Genius Scan – My go to scanner app. It’s also free!

PerfectOCR – unfortunately, this is not free. However, reviews show that it provides a lot of good functionality.

Kik: a messaging app. Similar in vein to Blackberry Messenger.

Evernote: a multiplatform, note taking app. Great for sharing notes across different devices.

Documents To Go: an office suite dedicated to mobile devices. Functional, but not the best to use when long form writing, major editing, etc.

Remember The Milk: one of the more popular GTD (getting things done) applications out there. Syncs with the website and offers free and pro versions.

Wunderlist: one of the new GTD/list making apps – just started using it and I love the interface! Easy for me to navigate and it syncs across all of your devices.
